About Us

INTERFAITH is a spiritual philosophy which respects all beings. Its foundation is the understanding that all of creation is One.

Interfaith honors and acknowledges the traditions and sacred literature of the great faiths. It asserts that all the various ways of worshipping the Creative principle are valid because they all have the same purpose--to help us achieve a meaningful relationship with the Divine and with each other.

In choosing to recognize and honor the interrelationship of all beings, we are blessed with a deep sense of love and appreciation for life and the miracle of being alive. Therefore, Interfaith ministers may utilize the prayers, scriptures, songs, symbols and practices of the many spiritual paths in their services as dictated by their own understanding of their relationship to the Divine. In this way, we can come to understand and esteem the numerous, wonderful avenues of faith that lead us to Oneness.

The Ark Interfaith Services is a non-profit, spiritual affiliation and member of Interfaith Ministries International based in New York.

Our Minister

Rev. MarciaGrace is a graduate of The New Seminary and an ordained Interfaith minister. She has taught classes in metaphysics and religion for 29 years and has spoken at various religious and secular groups throughout the New York metropolitan area. She has organized and led several spiritual retreats on Long Island and has been a chaplain at North Shore University Hospital in Manhasset.

MarciaGrace is a contributor to numerous periodicals, writing on spiritual themes. She also does individual and group spiritual psychotherapy and specializes in pre-marital counseling. Currently, she performs a weekly on-line Service at The Interfaith Sanctuary and moderates spiritual discussion groups weekday evenings.

Married 40 years and the mother of grown children, she brings to her ministry an understanding of the dynamics of marriage and family life.
